I have been taking photographs for about 50 years. I think I always wanted to create images in some form, and since I can't paint or draw, I picked up the camera. Life can be tricky for us introverts; the camera gave me refuge while at the same time creating a bridge between me and my fellow humans. At no time has this been more rewarding than during the INSIDE/OUT PROJECT: WE ARE EDISON, completed in 2017 in the Edison Neighborhood of Kalamazoo.
